How would it be if your speaker looked like a speech bubble, your your book shelf looked alike the word “SHELF” itself or you could pour out milk from a packet itself looking like the letters of the word “MILK”? Excellent idea isn’t it? Well here are some products which have been designed very innovatively to look alike the names by which they are known to people. The designs are very appropriate, sleek and stylish. Here are some excellent self defining product designs available in the market.

1. Fruit Juice Packaging by Naoto Fukasawa

Naoto Fukasawa, a japanese industrial designer has designed some mind blowing fruit juice packages which gives the feel of the fruit they come from. As seen in the above picture, the packet containing banana juice has been given the look and feel of a banana peel. Similarly, the packages of strawberry juice has been designed so as to make it look like a strawberry. It is not just about the color of the peel of the fruit. Fukasawa has also emphasized on the feel of the package when held in hand. The surface has been given the texture and finish quite similar to that of the fruit skin such that it appears to be the fruit itself when held in the hands of the consumer.

2. Speech Bubble Speaker

 

This amazing looking speaker is going to be launched shortly by the Art Lebedev Studios. This one looks exactly like a speech bubble. Finally someone has designed a “SPEAK-ER”. As seen in comic books, every dialogue is written in speech bubbles. Similarly, anything spoken or sounded by your computer or any other music playing device will be processed and reproduced via this fabulously designed speech bubble speaker. The model is very slim and stylish (Dimensions- 4 inch x 6 inch x 2 inch). This is still waiting to be launched in the market for sale. The estimated price is about $150 per pair. The inbuilt drivers are not so important to focus on before buying it. The innovative model and look will be worth the cost if you buy it.

3. Remote, Radio and Subwoofer

Here comes another superb model of a compact music player. This product consists of a stacked up arrangement which includes a radio, a remote, a music player, an amplifier, a woofer, a speaker and finally a lamp. Each of the components looks exactly the way their names are written in English uppercase letters. The stacked up arrangement looks cool on your table top. The remote looks really great and the grip is excellent. Each of the components can be interconnected via suitable ports provided at their back panel. Though the speaker and woofer with such a shape may be doubted for the quality of the sound, still it’s worth buying considering the sophisticated design.

4. Stylishly Hot Radiator

This splendid bathroom or room heating arrangement is in the stores now. It is wall mountable by design. The letters H, O and T are actually the heat radiators operated by electrical power. Such smart design will bear an obvious indication and warning that the material is hot for the guests or newcomers in your house. This product will add a new mark to the interior decor of any house owing to it’s wonderful design, architecture and finish.

5. Spell Shelf

Finally we have a shelf for keeping our essential daily stuff resembling the letters of the word “SHELF” itself. Designer Da-Eun Song has come forward with this design for your living room or study room. As seen in the picture above, you can keep your piggy bank on the upper curve of “S”, stack your books on the curve of “h” or “l” and keep your pen stand in the cavity of “e”. This is of course an unique design bearing a cool style statement of it’s own.

6. Milk Carton

 

Well this is still a futuristic concept design brought in by Julien De Repentigny in collaboration with Gabriel Lefebvre. This is again a liquid food packaging design to make the product look unique from the rest. This concept is about a cardboard packet looking like the spelling of “MILK” for packaging 2 liters of milk. This would differentiate milk from other liquid beverages in the departmental stores and make it easier for the customers to make the buy. The idea is a fantastic one. Let’s wait till it is realized and brought into the market.

7. Table by Toshinori Kamiya

Table by Toshinori Kamiya

This funny concept of a table was introduced a couple of years ago by the designer Toshinori Kamiya. This table literally looks like the spelling of “Table” and you can use the top of the “T” for any kind of table work. Actually such a model has been designed to decorate your house interiors from a humorous aspect. The 5 letters are multicolored with an excellent surface finish which looks superb in your living room.
