Summers can definitely sap up your energy, especially as the heat temperatures rise up, leaving you all high and dry. One would often tend to not even wish to step out of the house in the summer heat. All one wants to do is, sit and relax, as the air conditioners are on full blast, giving out waves of cool air. But, often, this is also not possible, given the amount of energy required to run these air conditioners.
Given this chain of thought, Israeli designer Ben Shoshan, a graduate from the Holon Institute of Technology, has come up with a very innovative concept for his final year industrial design class. He has crafted a very well challenged and expertly carved Air and Water Cooling device, which promises to put all your summer woes to rest.
His design is pretty simple, yet unique of its own accord. Realizing how important it becomes to be well equipped for summers, he has created a device which will keep the air cool and moist for one and all. The concept is every inch economical and yet very effective. His project design incorporates an air sucking device, which pulls in the warm air, runs it through a damp cloth at the back and gives out cool air. As mentioned before, the working of the product may not be very elaborate but the end result is definitely very pleasing.
The warm air being sucked in is made to pass through a water laden cloth at the back of the device. The water droplets cure the air, lend it a cool breezy touch and throw it back towards the user. By doing so, the whole instrument is rigged to reduce the air temperature by almost five degrees. The whole idea may have a very simplistic approach attached to it, but it surely brings forth the freshness in its wake and in the concept as well.
