Wavy and bowed eco savvy building by LAVA is a spectacle

Slabs with a curvilinear outline, laid on top of each other neatly, make this building look quite striking. The loopy silhouette that oozes style and grace is inspired from the landscape of the Rhine valley. The structure, that shuns straight cuts, has been built by the design firm LAVA. The cutting edge firm is supported by efforts of Tobias Wallisser, Alexander Rieck and Chris Bosse. The structure was tendered for the ‘ecological model project’ and will meet all the latest standards in energy efficiency as well as building ecology. It will also abide by all specifications of the German Gold Certificate.

green climate fund headquarters

The three level building that is proposed to function as the ‘Green Climate Fund Headquarters’ will be stationed along the Rhine river in Bonn, Germany. Its location is quite strategic and many important government and ministry centers are at a stone’s throw. Some of these are the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, Nuclear Safety, Nature Conservation, etc. Moreover, the building will have really good transport connections.

Complimenting the exquisite exteriors of the building are the spectacular interiors that draw on state of art technology. The space inside looks ravishing and is functional. Take a walk on the breezy roof tops gardens and dine at the restaurant located on the large sunken terrace. Its conference room, cafeteria and auditorium is just perfect for gatherings. The underground car park and visitor reception area are also very practical. While, the access point and logistics zones have tight security controls. The impressive work environment over here is unquestionably a rare find.
