Designers all around the world are working hard to reveal to the world various self sufficient and auto adjustable designs that would work with least human efforts. Tulip Lantern is a similar smart creation by Snow Peak that adjusts its light according to the needs of the campers. As the name suggests, the structure of the lamp’s bulb has been created taking inspiration from Tulip flower, which gives narrow beam of light when hung from some stand or roof and brightens up the room with ambient glow when placed upright.
This unique lighting equipment works according to the law of gravity to determine whether it is being used on its base or hung from the roof. When being used on its base, the lamp shines with more brightness and intensity and gets automatically dimmed when upside-down hung. Its bendable snake-like neck can be twisted and transformed around its head to produce either of the illumination effects irrespective of its orientation.
It can glow for around 100 hours on the go but only if being used on dim setting mode. It offers 250 lumens of bright light that is quite enough to brighten a tent or any other enclosed area. It’s very convenient to carry Tulip Lantern from one place to another with only 17 oz. of weight. It also forms a handy and useful gift item to present to your loved ones. The adjustable lamp is expected to be available in the market from this March with the price tag of $150.
