The restaurant of the earthly delights

The building at 31 Flinders Street in Melbourne is soon to be transformed into an astonishing restaurant that will provide visitors with more than just good food. The ideas that went into creating the design for this restaurant have been inspired by earlier projects which have set the proposition for the final one.

Earthly delights restaurant

The restaurant is designed to make use of a one-way travelator. The single travelator will sit on the interior periphery of the building and connect the different sections of the restaurant. Diners can access the entire interior space by stepping on and off the travelator at their desired stops.

The most important objective of the design is to create a playful and pleasant ambience by suitably utilizing and designing its interiors. The restaurant is designed to house private rooms, counters, a spinning cafe, dim sum train, a bubble playground, an open space, a sliding entrance, observation seats, a noodle bar and toilets, among others.

This restaurant is in no way going to be your usual restaurant. It has been specifically designed to transform the building into a miraculous zone by the activation of objects. The restaurant is aimed at serving different types of customers including people from offices in the nearby area. Apart from indulging in good food and drinks, the diners will appreciate the intriguing interiors and exteriors and will enjoy themselves engaging in the movement of objects and people surrounding them. The restaurant promises to offer its visitors an amazingly enjoyable dining experience which they will fondly remember for a long time.
