Haven Cross shelter is easy to setup during emergency

The most important thing that any human can long for is proper shelter. But, when emergency strikes many people have to live in pitiful conditions till the time some temporary structure is erected as a part of government relief. It may take a few days or weeks, which forces the victims to stay like lesser mortals. Alex Chen gave a closer look to this problem and came up with a solution in the form of an emergency shelter named Haven Cross.

Haven Cross - Emergency Shelter

Haven Cross promises to create a private space for victims, who otherwise are forced to stay in messy conditions. The temporary shelter is not only inexpensive but eco friendly in nature. It has been shaped like a hexagon and can easily accommodate two adults. In case of a bigger family, more units can be connected without much difficulty. The emergency shelter is light in weight, which makes it easy to transport from one place to the other. It can be deployed just anywhere and doesn’t consume much to built. The use of corrugated cardboard gives it the desired light weight trait as well as smothers it with clean and green properties.

Setting up the shelter is very easy. The base has clearly marked slots into which the walls will be slithered. Once the walls are in place the top ceiling is positioned, which will protect the victims from harsh sun rays and rain. When not required, simply snap it apart and stack all pieces one above the other. Haven Cross is modular in nature and will provide good living conditions to those stuck in an emergency situation.
